Not bad! The BG is quite nice, although the shading could use some work. Make the lines even, a shadow is silloutted evenly from the object casting it. Wobbly and screwed up shadows that don't corrospond with the object look worse than no shadow.

Also, don't know what you are smoking, but the ground isnt purple. If you plan on making a realistic background, like you have here with the sun, sky, mountains... you dont contrast the foreground in purple. Period. It looks horrible. By all means, go for the abstract background, but dont ever mix realism and abstract. It makes you look like you have down syndrome and cant tell the difference.

6/10, it wasnt really an anim, I know, but it still wasnt crash hot.

Like the background and the bird animation. The interactivity of moving it around was also pretty cool.

Basically, it's look too plain and simple for my liking. Nothing impressive yet. But considering that i haven't seen you make anything is like months. This is a rather good start.

The sky looks a bit plain, you want want to add some clouds to it!
And for the purple underground the pink shade looks a bit odd, but it might be just me.

Basically for the mountain I have the same remark as for the sky they look a bit plain but maybe that was part of the plan

The interactive bird is pretty cool :P, I spotted one 'error' if leave the frame and go back into the frame the bird keeps moving into one direction which is kinda weird!

Other than that, good job! =]

Yea i couldn't work out how to block the bird moving beyond the boundaries, the best i could do was make it reverse direction so eventually the player could find it again... Lol.
The background isn't the best cause i just quickly scribbled something so i could play with actionscript, but i agree its pretty plain and odd looking.
