A cookie is often used to identify a user. A cookie is a small file that the server embeds on the user's computer. Each time the same computer requests a page with a browser, it will send the cookie too. With PHP, you can both create and retrieve cookie values.
Basically, if you want to stay logged in and stuff like that.... -------------------- "The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary."

@Kieran yeah nice explanation =]
A cookie in other words is "Remind me" so you don't have to login every time you go to supperbas.com! -------------------- SupperBas[dot]Com - site of power -

Works great. Its perfect if you have more than 1 password. Or, if you're lazy :D
Though cookies don't stay forever. At least, not on my PC. -------------------- Animator / Voice Actor
