Yeah I agree Avatar was one of the best movies but now I think about it Inglorious bastards was also one of the best movies this year one master piece
I also really liked district 9 and public enemies, also watchmen was cool I haven't really watched many other movies that are in zackie's list so yeah can't really say which top 10 I've 1. "Avatar" was the best forme, its had a great storyline and the effects were awesome.

AH you pretty much summed up my view on the best films man! I really enjoyed Sherlock Holmes and Avatar i almost made a mess in my pants for joy.. James Cameron now has the 1st and 2nd highest grossing films of all time....lol lucky git

Zombieland, District 9, and Inglorious Bastards were some of the greatest movies of 2009.
I must say that I saw Avatar in 3-D the other week, and while I had my mind blown by special effects and amazing animation, the storyline is slightly unoriginal. The Aliens were defiantly representing Indians, while the Humans represented the Oil companies. The same scenario that played out in Avatar was a common plot in early American history. It was basically a 'cliche Western-Indian movie in space. --------------------  | |

I don't think cameron meant them to represent anything other than aliens and humans. The only reason he made the film really was to advance his filming techniques...He said so himself. But yes the story is meh.
