On that note, does SB currently have a crew? Sorry if this has been discussed before, I was just wondering.

On topic, I think we should just stick with Weeklies, which happens to be a perfect timescale for a decent animation. Although, Fort-Nighties could work, but the animations would have to be more intricate, longer and probably have somewhat of a plot. 14 days is a long time.

Yes there is a crew.
I personally think 'weeklies' is better. Some people might loose interest after waiting 14 days.
7 days keeps it interesting.

And I'm okay with the crew picking the theme.
Sword vs. Shield could definitely be one, but we'll discuss that later.

It would be best if the crew decided. However if someone had a really good idea, they could tell the crew, and they would consider it? Or if the crew lots their creativity skills that bi-week, they could always make a poll.

I think you're asking me if the crew would put up a poll, if they couldn't think of something?
In that case, yes. If we are totally out of ideas, we'll ask the community.

And if you really have an outstanding idea, you can always PM the crew member in charge, to ask if he would like to use your idea for the weekly.

I vote for weeklies. 7 days to animate may be a challange, 14 is just getting lazy, if you can't find the time you don't have to enter that week. I also think crew would be able to think up stuff. When Malf is back im sure he will keep us rolling. :D

I do have to disagree with you underling though. 7 days is too little, but I agree that 14 days is little too much. We could have a 1.5 week thing, but now were going onto complicated grounds.

1.5 weeks is a bit stupid, just 1 week will be fine imo. If you can't animate a short for one week you don't have enough time :3

of course it is always possible to hand in a 'shorter' weekly
Although we will encourage longer ones, rather than just a bunch of short ones that are rushed.

But I agree with KB here, if you're too busy one week you could always 'skip' that week and participate in the week after.
