When are we going to start the weekly and collabs and stuff around here?

Im guessing next month or so. When the site and it's members are ready.

Get the point from zackie. This site needs more members and make them ready and comfort with site, first. second, start weeklies and official competitions and MAKE A PART !!!!!

most members just post "I will join this !" and they didn't even make a scratch for the part >_>

we somewhat need something to pull them over. In my opinion, Each member who join and make a part gets 200xp or something else like that.

I think we should all slow down, just a tiny bit. And It will be better to revolutionalise the weekly idea, so its not just like the weeklies from the other god-knows-how-many forums.

Basically my idea is first build a community, we will not advertise just let it do for a while
We've the forced introduction to keep the 'biggest noobs' and the people who're too lazy out

So now we've the people who actually want to enjoy animating and wanna be a nice community :P

As for stuff like Weeklies, collabs etc.
It really depends on what the community wants, if the community says WEEKLIES! it will be weeklies, if they say we want a COLLAB it will be a collab
so it really depends on the input we get from the community

As for now, the first week will certainly having a nice atmosphere making people feel comfortable and get some devoted members

As I said earlier in an other topic, we don't want to take lots of members from an other site and just copy past their ideas, SB should be new SB should be something to be proud of REVOLUTION :P

So yeah don't get me wrong here, don't let me stop you from posting ideas like this! I really like the input but for just this specific topic I'm not sure if it's the right time already

@Zackie, I've been thinking about a Fort-Night but everyone I asked didn't knew what it was actually :P

If you guys are referring to the homepage, The weeklies that are shown there are portal contents that have gotten the best score of that week

It's like the top 3 of that week
and the top 3 of that month

Probably not a good idea, what about those people here who aren't animators? They will be left way behind while the animators will be shooting ahead in xp. The reward should be in the result.

I really think fortnightly colabs or competitions could be a good way to get people to try new things, not only confine it to animation we could try and help people branch out like making the challenge "simple interactive game" or something maybe.

A fort nightly is a period of 14 days (i.e. 2 weeks)

How about a whole bunch of topics, and the community can vote every (week or two weeks) for what it should be?

I dont think fort-nighties would be such a good idea because it may seem as if we are inactive and whatnot.But i do like the other thing with the votes

How about I'll take care of this, just like I'm taking care of it over at FA? Sounds like plan to me.

However, we'll not start with this anytime soon. I can tell ya' that.
We'll first grow a bit, then discuss it a bit, wank a bit and THEN, we'll get into the weeklies. (fort-nighties)

Well...i've nothing against KB organising all the fort-nighties. I don't like to vote on ideas. It can cause discouragement if one's demands are not met. So it'd be better if one person organized the ideas and then we use our creativity to animate through.

I would love to help KB out if he doesn't mind.

So it's like one or two users, come up with an idea like 'Beans'. Then the participants animate according to that idea. It's like a theme for the fort-night. No exceptions.

Would you people prefer, if I made the 'subject choice' a crew decision? So that the crew decides what you people animate, instead of putting down your own suggestions?

Let me know, and I'll keep it in mind.
