Well..it's pretty obvious that when the spam meter reached it's max, devastating consequences will fall upon us. O.o

One question : Will the spam percentage go down after a while? If the spam is considered like a permanent infraction, i would pity most of the new comers who like to spam and myself for not taking this SERIOUSLY!

The 'spam percentage' is nothing for you people to worry about. If you have 100% spam, there won't be any consequences.
And yes, the more 'normal' posts you make, the lower the percentage will be, obviously.

Let me explain. (I hope I got this right)
If you have 100 posts, and 1 of those posts is spam, you'll have 1% spam.
If you have 100 posts, and 2 of those posts are spam, you'll have 2% spam.
Now if you increase the number of posts, but keep the same amount of spam, the percentage will drop.
I hope that made the slightest sense.

You are free to spam all you want (as long as it doesn't break the rules). Just keep in mind, that you won't get XP for any post you make in the spam topics.
And remember, you can't spam anywhere else, but the spam topics.

If you post in one of these forums that specific post will count as 'spam' but it's not that you'll get severe punishment if you have a certain spam percentage.

You can 'decrease' your spam percentage by posting more posts/topics in any other forum

E.g. 20posts, 2 of them are in the spam section
10% spam

If you would reply to 10 more topics which are not in the spam section

You will have 30 posts, still only 2 of them are in the spam section
7% spam

So in stats indicate how many of your posts have been posted in the spam section

We just added a spam forum so people could just make 'useless' topics without getting a penalty that's basically all

Separating the animation related topics and the "fun" related topics

Do you get less XP for spam posts, or less XP if you have a higher spam percentage?

If you post in the 'spam section', you'll not get any XP at all.
A higher spam percentage, doesn't mean a lower XP rate per post.

I was hoping we won't get spam percentage for posting in the Other section, then again, KB said it's not a big deal so i'm fine with that.

Oh, it's fortunate that that's what the purpose is. I was wondering about the "spam" section. Well, I guess I needn't worry then :)

The spam percentage shows how many of your posts are posted in the spam section (percentage wise)

E.g. 1 post in normal section 2 on the spam
3 Posts total ( 66% spam) (2/3) and that's basically it :P

The use of XP is to increase your voting power, Matt was so kind to prove you with the link to the FAQ page for the levels

Also if you reach level5 you get access to one more forum where only lvl5+ members can post =]

so its just like newgrounds but just in case more ppl ask post that in the FAQ sections along with the meaning for the spam meter and what not.
