Yo,

I finally plan on making an uploader, we already have the current uploader which works great :D but I plan on making something 'bigger'

I've seen a lot of people using all kinds of file uploaders and most of them disappear after a couple of months/years like antiup for instance

But long story short, I plan to make an uploader which basically has 3 levels

Basic
Just upload file that's it and you get an url back

Advanced
Will have basic fields like title and description the normal stuff you would expect from any uploader

Very advanced
This allows you to set a password, make your file private and maybe even IP restrict your upload, auto lock after a certain date, only share with a specified user(s)
So basically stuff that you would normally not use but could turn out very useful!


What would be useful was to get some feedback and see what features YOU would like to see in there

And would you NOT use the uploader if you couldn't directly link to the file but only to the view page? (so not www.url.com/file.swf but only www.url.com/view/file/ and on that page you will see the swf)

Allow the uploader to choose whether you can see the www.url.something.swf version or not?

Well whether or not you are you able to link to the .swf file or not
So it's not the uploader who decides but it holds for every file in the uploader
