Hey guys,

I'll start with recoding the entire SB site, because I already take this into account it shouldn't take me that long.
I will include all the ideas and suggestions that where proposed.
I'm not sure if I will put the update in phases or all at once.

The main reason for this recoding is that it will allow me to change or add new stuff to SB more more easily.
And technically should also allow other programmers code sections of the site... but well not sure if I actually want that :P (hacking etc)

It should also make SB faster =]

In the progress, will this 'do' anything to the website / forum.
For example, will the forum go offline for a certain amount of time? Or can you do all this, while keeping everything running?

It depends a bit but I try not to, probably not.

The thing is because I put everything in a different structure it would be a bad idea to release it in stages because then you have one part of the site using the 'new' version and the other part (e.g. the portal) still uses the old code and that will probably get messy :P

I agree with you on that one.
I think you should work on this 'undercover', and then release the whole thing, in one go.
